The Penny Road LMC is at the heart of the school. All students visit with their class, in small groups and individually. The schedule is flexible to meet the needs of both teachers and students. All parents are encouraged to stop by and check out books. There is an extensive Parent Resource Center (PRC) as well as a collection of leveled books reserved just for parents to check out and read at home with their children.

Students check out as many books as they like, unless there is a restriction from the teacher or parent, or from having a delinquent account. No overdue fines are charged, but payment is required for lost or damaged books. Books are due three weeks from the checkout date.

NEW - Use Home Connect for Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Math!

Parents and students are free to check (at home and from any computer connected to the Internet) on student progress with the Renaissance Learning programs at the host web site. Click the logo (below) to begin.

Important -- Parents who do not have an account need to click on the line for Parent, then on the line for "Request Parent/Guardian access." Fill out the form and click Submit. You will receive your user id and password in your email.
